Vogue magazine under fire for apparent Photoshop fail

Vogue magazine has come under fire for what people are calling a major Photoshop fail.

The magazine unveiled its March issue which enlisted 7 models including Adwoa Aboah, Liu Wen, Ashley Graham, Vittoria Ceretti, Imaan Hammam, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner to paint a perfect picture of how today’s models are creating a new norm.

See the cover here:

The cover, photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, is obviously stunning however has raised some major questions since its release.

One of them being whether Gigi Hadid’s arm is Photoshopped. According to some, Gigi’s arm is either very awkwardly placed or has been doctored to extend over Ashley Graham’s waist.

Here is a close-up of Gigi’s arm:

@voguemagazine hire me… who knew her fingers were sooooooo long. Seriously though who approved this for print!!

Woah woah… This … photoshop gone wrong (Gigi’s hand), trying to make Ashely look thinner (only one with hand down) & more

The cover of March 2017 @voguemagazine. Can we please stop with the aggressive photoshop? Look at Gigi’s hand/arm…

Another question raised is whether the cover actually is as diverse as they are selling it to be.

Dear @voguemagazine,

This is what diversity looks like. This is what I want from you. Raise your standards. Show me some heart.

dear @voguemagazine, why is the only plus size model also the only one using her arm to cover her thigh?
